Progressive Action New Hampshire – Mission Statement and Purpose

Formed in Manchester, New Hampshire in April 2012, the purpose of this group is to inform, inspire and activate all residents of New Hampshire to get involved in progressive actions across the state.

By supporting getting the word out campaigns and actions, we hope to help the bridge the connection between the regular citizen and the organizer and organization, because only in that way will be ever achieve progressive social change.

Our goals are to become self-supporting through fundraising work, member supports and organizational support.  We do not endorse political candidates, although we will support some messaging that is in line with our values.  Likewise we do not wish to impart the idea that those organizations or actions that we support necessarily agree with all our core convictions.

We wish to work to find common ground, consensus and to support and nurture a strong left movement and identity in New Hampshire that can work hard for all citizens of New Hampshire and beyond.

We have a small board of directors and are working on our organizational structure at this time.  This page will be updated as changes are adopted and delineated among the group.
